West Yost Welcomes Tom West, PE to our Team as Water Business Sector Leader!
We are honored to welcome Mr. Tom West, PE to our team. Tom brings 30 years of experience in the water industry to lead West Yost’s multi-state Water Sector comprised of over 40 professionals. We are excited to bring Tom’s lessons learned from his experience, and his creative and innovative mindset to our current and future clients. We look forward to his vision and execution in his role as the Water Business Sector Leader.

Tom is known for his “One Water” expertise (his ability to help regions or areas develop and implement integrated water management programs). Of particular note, Tom was the project director for the One Water LA program which is now serving as Los Angeles’s road map toward sustainable and resilient water supply, wastewater, and runoff management programs. In addition to his One Water expertise, Tom also works closely with several cities, agencies, and regional groups to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives.
Tom’s extensive background includes water recycling, groundwater banking, water treatment, stormwater and watershed management, asset management, desalination, and imported water projects for more than 100 cities, agencies, and private clients. Tom has also led efforts that have secured more than $100 million in grant funds from State and Federal sources.
In his role as the Water Business Sector Leader, he will be leading, guiding, growing, and managing our talented team of engineers and scientists who provide invaluable guidance and innovative solutions to our hundreds of clients across Arizona, California, Hawaii, Oregon, and Washington. His knowledge and experience providing strategic direction, client development, operational excellence, and team development will benefit our current and future team as well as our clients.
