Water Meter Plan & Implementation
City of Woodland, California

West Yost developed the City’s Water Meter Implementation Project, which included preparation of an implementation plan and contract documents for the City’s two-phased meter implementation.

The project included organizing the City’s 15,000 water connections into appropriate phases for installing new and/or upgraded water meters and components for residential and commercial properties. The project also included an automated meter reading (AMR) system selection, implementation of a radio frequency fixed-base AMR network, a public workshop, and assisting the City in completing an ARRA application for stimulus grant and loan funding.
