Reuse Facilities Master Planning
City of Galt, California
West Yost has provided services to the City related to the assessment of the existing agricultural areas used for irrigation reuse during the summer months when the Galt Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) is not discharging to the creek. These services included assessment of potential reclamation area expansion options, preparation of a Title 22 Engineering Report (including coordination with CDHS staff), and preparation of a reclamation area Land Management Plan (including the development of a site-specific operations management tool in Microsoft Excel).
Subsequently, West Yost also provided assistance to the City in evaluating the potential alternatives available for long-term compliance strategies including reclamation with zero discharge, wetland enhancement, effluent export to Rancho Seco for cooling water, raw wastewater export to the Sacramento Regional WWTP, and raw wastewater export to the Lodi Water Pollution Control Facility.
