Project

Newcastle Road and North Little Johns Creek Stormwater Pump Station
Stockton, California

West Yost designed a stormwater pump station serving the Opus Logistics Center in east Stockton. The project consists of the construction of a below grade stormwater pump station with a rated capacity of 44 cfs.

The project site is located in the City of Stockton at Newcastle Road and North Little Johns Creek. The pump station provides drainage for portions of the Arch Road Industrial Park North (Opus Logistics Center) and discharges into the adjacent North Little Johns Creek. The pump station design consists of three mixed flow pumps with 100-hp motors as the duty pumps, and one nuisance flow pump with a 30-hp motor. The duty pumps will produce 9,500 gpm when the basin is full and 6,500 gpm when the basin is empty. The nuisance pump will typically pump at a rate of 1,500 gpm. The project includes a 200 kW standby generator powered by natural gas and enclosed in a concrete masonry unit block structure. Additional work includes site piping and discharge structure, paving, electrical and instrumentation, and wrought iron fence and gates.
