West Yost Presents with Fresh Water Trust
Watershed Compliance Programs in the West

Walt Meyer (West Yost Associates) and Alex Johnson (The Freshwater Trust) will present a case study on the Medford Water Quality Trading Program for NPDES Compliance, at a workshop on watershed compliance programs in Sacramento.

The Workshop is April 14, 2016, 1:00 to 5:30 pm at the Citizen Hotel, 926 J Street, Sacramento, CA.

West Yost’s team, lead by Walt Meyer, completed the facilities plan for Medford in which we recommended the use of temperature credits to solve their excess thermal load discharged by the treatment plant. We negotiated on the behalf of Medford with the Fresh Water Trust (TFT) to create the shading necessary for the temperature credits. A video recently prepared by TFT shows the implementation of this trading process for the Medford Regional Water Reclamation Facility.
