Construction Manager needed for water and wastewater projects.
Construction Manager with public agency CM experience in water, wastewater, stormwater or public infrastructure-related projects is needed to assist with project responsibilities in our firm’s growing construction management practice in the South Bay Area.
Skills include: ability to read and interpret engineering plans and specifications; well-versed in preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports; computer literate and able to use MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, and Project software; experienced in the use of on-line CM document management software; skilled at running internal and external meetings, including preparing meeting agendas, leading project meetings and providing meeting minutes; ability to review contractor monthly pay requests and confirm quantity and pricing is correct; and communicate effectively with contractors, agency staff, engineers and regulatory agencies. Skill at marketing and business development a plus.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical water-related civil engineering education and knowledge, proactive organizational skills, and excellent interpersonal/communication skills, including the ability to quickly develop working relationships internally within the firm and externally with clients and teaming partners. A college degree, and Professional Engineer (PE) certification in California is preferred.
