Bruce West, PE
Principal

Bruce West, a founding Principal of West Yost, has almost 40 years of civil and environmental engineering experience. He has been responsible for project or program management of numerous large, complex projects, including facilities planning and design of water and wastewater facilities.

Bruce has been responsible for many city-wide sewer and water master plans, facilities plans, and designs of wastewater treatment systems up to 200 mgd in capacity; wastewater reclamation projects; and a variety of specialty studies related to wastewater collection, treatment, and disposal.

West Yost Associates was established in 1990. Protecting the environment at the City of Roseville’s Dry Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant is more than just reliable and effective treatment and disposal of wastewater. It also includes protecting the surrounding natural environment, habitat, and groundwater.

Award – Auburn Ravine Lift Station, for Placer County
July 2011

The American Public Works Association’s (APWA’s) Sacramento Chapter awarded West Yost a Project of the Year award for the Auburn Ravin Pump Station Project for Placer County. The design provided a cost conscious solution to the rehabilitation and expansion of the lift station.
