we choose to represent the firm, seeking only those individuals
whose technical abilities and commitment to clients matches West
Yost’s vision for excellence. Because we are employee-owned, our
owners are responsible for and rewarded by our success.

West Yost’s mission is to provide a positive, long-term impact on
communities and the environment through the engineering of water,
wastewater and stormwater projects.
The vision of West Yost is to remain a sustainable company that
continues to grow as a result of providing excellence in service,
work products and employee care. Our vision serves as the
framework for how we conduct ourselves and our business both from
a strategic outlook, and on a day-to-day basis. Our vision
includes the following key directives:
West Yost Associates was established in 1990. From the beginning,
our firm’s focus has been exclusively on water, wastewater, and
stormwater projects with the objective to provide a higher
level of client service around this focused area of technical
expertise. Our firm culture is deeply rooted in providing high
quality work, superior client service, and technical expertise.
Protecting the environment at the City of Roseville’s Dry Creek
Wastewater Treatment Plant is more than just reliable and
effective treatment and disposal of wastewater. It also includes
protecting the surrounding natural environment, habitat, and
groundwater.
In 2012, West Yost received our third Sacramento Workplace
Excellence Leader (SWEL) Award from the Sacramento Area Human
Resource Association (SAHRA) and the Sacramento Bee. In 2011,
West Yost also ranked 13 in the Top 22 Nationwide on CE
News’ “Best Civil Engineering Firms to Work For” List.
The American Public Works Association’s (APWA’s) Sacramento
Chapter awarded West Yost a Project of the Year award for the
Auburn Ravin Pump Station Project for Placer County. The
design provided a cost conscious solution to the
rehabilitation and expansion of the lift station.
We’ve accomplished the vision of establishing a great place to
work, where the focus is on
doing high quality work and serving our clients.
We’ve attracted great people who continue to support this vision.
