Chris Petersen joins West Yost as a Vice President and Manager of our Groundwater Resources Program, bringing more than 20 years of experience implementing and securing funding for groundwater management, aquifer storage and recovery, modeling, and infrastructure design projects.

As both a California Certified Hydrogeologist and a Professional Geologist, Chris brings significant benefits to our clients that recognize the growing role of groundwater in water supply planning, and those that protect, restore, and manage groundwater resources. His experience includes managing some of northern California’s most innovative groundwater resource projects including the City of Roseville’s Aquifer Storage and Recovery Program and the Farmington Groundwater Recharge Program sponsored by Stockton East Water District with funding assistance from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. His proven ability to direct and manage large, interdisciplinary teams; obtain state and federal funding assistance for programs; and build consensus among diverse stakeholders will provide significant vision, knowledge and benefits for West Yost’s clients.
