California Nevada Section American Water Works Association (AWWA)
2012 Spring Conference in Santa Clara, April 2 – 5.
Continuing in our leadership role in wastewater planning, design,
and construction management, West Yost staff will be giving eight
presentations at the CWEA 2012 Annual Conference in Sacramento,
April 17-20.
West Yost was proud to sponsor the 28th Biennial Groundwater
Conference and 20th Groundwater Resource Association’s Annual
Meeting in Sacramento this October. Over 230 professionals
representing municipal utilities, irrigation districts, and
private parties attended the two-day conference. Groundwater use
and management continues to provide opportunities and challenges
to our client’s in California. Below, we’ve provided links to

West Yost is providing space in our Davis office
for Acme Theatre Co. to conduct its management and business
activities. Acme is a non-profit, primarily volunteer
organization that provides a rich environment for youth
development by offering direct experience in all aspects of
theater arts such as performance, directing, management, public
relations, and theater technology. West Yost is proud to be
supporting organizations like Acme who play an
important role in the Davis community.
Explorit is a nonprofit California Corporation, founded in 1982
and located in Davis, California. Their mission is: “To involve
people in science experiences that touch our lives.” They provide
opportunities for hands-on science exploration serving 13
counties in the greater Sacramento region.
In March of 2011, West Yost committed to a fundraising campaign
to assist in suppling clean drinking water for those impacted by
the earthquake, tsunami and related disasters in Japan. West
Yost committed to match employee contributions to the American
Red Cross and in just over one week $5,840.00 was raised, with
contributions from employees throughout our seven
offices.
